because I fell like I have tunnel vision and some things appear to be foreign to me, especially when I try to write, read, and sometimes hold conversations.
If you read my previous blog, “Total Misery Because of Years of Chronic Pain”, you’d know how I talked about my hands and wrists hurting extremely bad. Well, since that time I’ve been back to the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center Urgent Care again because of pain. And again, I get two shots that only minimizes the pain in certain parts of my body.
I PROMISE YOU WHEN I SAY THE PAIN HAS GOTTEN TO BE SO UNBEARABLE, THAT IT’S DIFFICULT FOR ME TO THINK, SLEEP, AND DO EVERY DAY CHORES.
I am totally convinced that some of the medical personnel at this facility could care less about my pain and/or problems and the same for other veterans.
SOME OF THESE PEOPLE REPORT TO WORK EVERYDAY JUST TO KEEP THE CHECKS COMING IN.
These type of people could care less about patients.
Let me show you what I mean.
Also, since my last blog post, an MRI was ordered for my l-knee, because of extreme pain. Approximately 5 years ago an MRI revealed I had a Partially Torn Meniscus, in which the Orthropedic Doctor at that time denied me having. I still believe to this date that some of these people think I’m lying, my diagnosis are wrong, as well as X-Rays and MRI’s. I can accept them not initially believing me, but when test reveal my diagnosis, and they confirm the diagnosis because of the X-Rays and MRI’s, then what’s the use in even going to see them?
As I revealed earlier, the MRI taken of my l-knee approximately 5 years ago revealed a Partially Torn Meniscus and the one I received on 13 June, 2023., revealed a Horizontal Medial Meniscus Tear.
I’d like to focus on the date of my latter MRI, 13 June, 2023. I was told by the Neuro Surgeon that my MRI’s were being referred to the Orthopedics Clinic. Since that time I’ve Secure Messaged my Primary Care Physician asking that my referral be expedited because of the tremendous pain that I was in. The response from the nurse was, “I’ll forward your message to the doctor.”
I am still in extreme pain and hadn’t heard a single word from none of the VA clinics.
I also sent a request to my Primary Care Physician on 21 June, 2023., asking for my meds to be updated. As of today their has not been any request for med renewals on my behalf. I have no idea what the problem is…
BUT THERE’S A BIG DISCONNECT AT THE OVERTON BROOKS VA MEDICAL CENTER!
There has got to be a flaw(s) in the VA Medical System or major disconnects. Something’s got to be standing in the way of information not getting from one clinic to the other. There has to be a better way of doing things to get better care for me and other veterans.
I am not going to stop here. I am eventually, (in the very near future) going to start sharing my posts with people who can help make a difference and hopefully get quicker and better care for all veterans. This is only the tip of the iceberg.

I AM STILL IN TREMENDOUS PAIN! SO, WHO CARES?
In tremendous pain and hadn’t heard a single thing about my aching body or anything else.
Note: My reason for putting this information in blog form is to seperate and point directly to the many problems that I’m experiencing with the VA System with hopes of connecting with other veterans with similar the same or similar problems. Also, there’s so much discourse that I have to break things down because if not, I’d be writing continuously, non-stop. And lastly, this is the only way for me to keep my posts clean of foul language.
