Will Your Life Be One?

Just stop it! Please stop It! You ask stop what? I say please stop doing the same thing that you’ve done for the last 1, 3, 5, 7, or even 10 years or longer. You ask, “WHAT?” I say, “Please Stop Sitting Around Waiting For God Knows Who, To All Of A Sudden Appear Out Of Nowhere And Create YOUR Positive Change.”

If I were to ask you “What’s the most important thing that you’ve accomplished in the last twelve months”, would you be able to answer this question with all honesty even if you know without a reasonable doubt that you have absolutely done nothing of importance?

There’s no need to worry. I am not here to judge you. I am here to make you aware first of all. Secondly, I am here to highly encourage you to start a little bit of investigating of your own. And lastly, I am here to encourage you to stop waiting on God knows what to get better or change before you can do anything to “CHANGE”.

Learn how to embrace change. Learn how to see things from different angles. Learn how to “consider” others’ opinion(s). Learn how to look into those things that people say and recommend before dismissing them. I know it sounds like make-believe, but if you don’t know one way or the other, find out for yourself. Learn how to embrace learning and doing new things.

When I first got started with my internet career I was totally dumb-fonded to computers. You’ll read about me telling this one many more times to come. The very first big thing (if you will), that I learned about a computer was, “How To Create A Link- How To Make Words Clickable.”

Up to that point, I had clicked on many links to open and read, or to do further investigations without ever wondering how that was done. I don’t remember the full story, but I do remember how excited I was and how proud of myself I was. After that ah-ha moment, I just got more and more curious about different things, and then I wanted others to have many of that same ah-ha (confidence-building) moments.

If you are the proud owner of a cell phone, tablet, or computer, and have internet access, I am recommending you read this article, “Lesson: The Only Business You Should Be In”, by Kenneth, LeadsLeap Owner. Join my LeadsLeap Team to read the article and learn more about “Why LeadsLeap As Business?”

I want you to get curious about finding a way to make positive change in yourself, in your family, in your friends, in groups, and in any organization. Find a way to make positive changes in the cheapest, simplest, and more effective ways possible. I want you to get curious about home-based businesses for change.

As you start using your electronic devices in a brand new way, one of those ways is to learn how to make the device pay for itself. My first goal would be to get you to earn your very first online commission with the least amount of out-of-pocket money possible. My next goal would be to teach you how to recruit others and how to teach them how to follow the exact same blueprint getting started as you did.

As we continue to get as many households as possible started with at least one home-based business, then we continue to change the world.

That change starts you.

My golden number is 1000 new households on my LeadsLeap Team before the end of the year. What’s your golden number?

Imagine Your Worse Case Scenario- “What Motivates You?”

At the seven minute mark of the Youtube video, “Faithful Over Few (Eric Thomas Motivation)”, Eric Thomas tells his audience to have dreams, but to have a couple of nightmares to go along with those dreams. He advises them to imagine their worse case scenario of what could happen to them so it won’t be a surprise to them and lead them to get blindsided. That’s just in case they run into roadblocks, negativity, denials, and failures.

I was so motivated and enlightened by the video that I had to go back, listen, and mention certain key parts that I think could be of relevance to us all. In the beginning of the video Eric talks about “Honor.” He went to the provost of Michigan State University where he was employed at the time to ask permission to leave the university and was denied. Because he had respect and appreciation for the opportunity that was afforded him,  by the provost, no matter how miserable he was, he “Honored” his commitment to continue working at the university, and to come back in 365 days with his request, ask instructed. After 365 days he went back to the provost to ask permission to leave the university and his request was granted.

I believe we all should honor where we are now and thank God for the blessings that we do have and remain steadfast and dedicated to our present situations until other doors open. Show respect and appreciation to the person who gave you your opportunity. Keep in mind that your boss may have had to hire somebody, but it didn’t have to be you.

At the 1:20 mark of the video he gave a testimony of what happens when we hold ourselves accountable to do the right things in the mist of storms. Eric talked about finally being able to leave the university and how one of his videos blew up after about a two week period. His testimony showed “What Comes Around, Goes Around”, (the process of reciprocity). We have to learn to dedicate ourselves to the task at hand to prove to God that we are worthy of moving forward and accomplishing bigger and better things. We too will be able to leap for joy when we see the evidence of our hard work and dedication paying off. What we do to, or for others will come back to us one-hundred fold.

Around the 1:30 mark of the video he spoke about “Dedication.” He told a story about a particular guru who was asked, “How to Become Successful”, and the guru gave the following advice to the person asking the question: “When You Want To Succeed As Bad As You Want To Breath, Then You’ll Be Successful.” This is a good reason for us to think about our worse case scenario. And if you can’t think of a worse case scenario for yourself, then ride the streets of a city with homeless people and imagine to yourself that one of them could be you. If you have dreams, goals and visions that you haven’t accomplished yet, then think about this: “When You Want To Succeed As Bad As You Want To Breath, Then You’ll Be Successful.” Dedicate yourself for at least 40 straight days to whatever it is that you’re doing, and you will see the benefits.

At around the 2:40 mark he talked about a dark part of his life and how he got through it. He said the song by Fergie, “Big Girls Don’t Cry” got him through his darkness because he listened to the song every day. I think we all “Should Keep A Song In Our Hearts.” Regardless of your music of choice, music has proven to be a scapegoat for many. Some people may want to criticize or judge you for your style of music without even realizing that your ability to listen to any song could be the difference in you losing your mind. So I advise you to always “Sing A Song” and keep it stored  in your heart for those dark times in life.

He summed up his entire video starting at the 3:50 mark by talking about Matthew 25:23 nlt. He said God told him that He had seen him continuing to “Be Faithful Over A Few Things”, and that He was giving the world over to him at that point because of his faithfulness. Check this out and check it out closely; Eric Thomas will have to some day very soon, move over and make room for me and you, because we to are faithful over a few things and about to get the keys to the kingdom (Matthew 16:19 nlt) as well.

No matter what happens along this journey, remember to always have “Honor” for the task at hand, because “What Comes Around, Goes Around.” Stay “Dedicated” to your cause and don’t let the storms of life get you into those dark places where you can’t see the light. Always keep the music playing in you heart to that song of choice. Lastly, always remember when you “Be Faithful Over A Few Things”, you too will get the keys to the kingdom.

I don’t know what it takes to get you started, but if this song “Get Up” doesn’t do it, then we just might have to get a defibrillator (heart shocker) for you.

Caution: If you are sitting or lying down, “Get Up” before starting to listen to this song. I don’t want you to break something by jumping up when the beat hits you.

This song is not only great to listen to, but it’ll make you do a check of yourself. Read the lyrics if you don’t already know them and imagine this song being song to you for personal reasons. Gut Check.

Get Up
Layin’ low
Rest n’ pause
Sleeping long
Slow motion
Gonna do
Should of, could of, would of done
Excuses
What are you afraid of?
Don’t you know what you’re made of?
One of God’s greatest creations
Take this invitation now
Get up
Cause you can’t stop
Get up
Got a lot to do
Twenty four hours
Almost gone
Get up
Don’t sit there
Get up
If you wanna get there
Clocks don’t stop and
Time won’t wait
He said
She said
They said
What do you say?
It’s your dreams
Your choice
Your time
Your life
So don’t you
Don’t you
Miss it
What are you afraid of?
Don’t you know what you’re made of?
One of God’s greatest creations
Take this invitation now
Get up
Cause you can’t stop
Get up
Got a lot to do
Twenty four hours
Almost gone
Get up
Don’t sit there
Get up
If you wanna get there
Clocks don’t stop and
Time won’t wait
Welcome to the rest of your life
From now on, just try
To live more, want more, work a little harder
Dance more, laugh more, be a little smarter
Hug a little longer, love a little stronger
You’ve been down but now it’s time to
Get up
Cause you can’t stop
Get up
Got a lot to do
Twenty four hours
Almost gone
Get up
Don’t sit there
Get up
If you wanna get there
Clocks don’t stop and
Time won’t wait
Get up
Cause you can’t stop
Get up
Got a lot to do
Twenty four hours
Almost gone
Get up
Don’t sit there
Get up
If you wanna get there
Clocks don’t stop and
Time won’t wait

I believe many of us can find ourselves in at least one of the above sentences, if not more or all. So, how did it feel getting up and into the groove? Don’t just “Get Up”, “Stay Up.”

“You” Get Me Started

On your Mark, Get Ready, Get Set, Go! What get’s you started everyday on your many endeavors? Many of us get up at some point of the day to go to work, to work out, to hustle, to go to school, to volunteer our services, etc. Whatever we set out to do, there’s a reason behind it. My motivation is “You.”

When I write I am motivated by you to find relevant content that can be of some value to your life. This content may come in the form of a personal testimony, a song, a video, a business idea, something new that you I learn or content from other people’s work or experiences. As I do my research and come across material that get me excited, I want to share it with you, so we both can enjoy the excitement.

According to Time Magazine’s article written by: Jenny Santi, “The Secret To Happiness Is Helping Others.”  What make our online presence and giving so remarkable is the fact that we can reach many more people in a shorter period of time. No matter what your gift to the world may be, it’ll never do anything to affect change if you keep it to yourself. Luke 6:38 NLT say’s, “Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full–pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.” Don’t let your motivation to give be to receive something back, but be assured that what comes around, goes around. This the process of reciprocity.

If you don’t think you have anything to offer to others, then sit back and think about the mistakes you’ve made in life and the consequences that occurred behind those bad decisions. You can share those experiences, and what you did that caused the outcomes to be mistakes, and how the mistakes affected your life. You can also think about the positive things that have happened in your life as results of you making the right decisions and how these positive decisions made your life better. One of the best things about us sharing online is, as long as we keep our online presence active, our shares can happen time after time again for a life time. Other people can continue to share what we started, even after we are dead and gone.

If you truly want to make a difference in this life time, find what make you click and get you started, and do just that, Get Started.

No Resolutions- “Commitments”

Stop setting yourself up for failure, again. Do not make any New year’s Resolutions this year. Instead, be serious about what it is you’d like to accomplish or change in the upcoming year 2019, and “COMMIT” yourself to it.

A resolution is defined as: a firm decision to do or not to do something.

A commitment is defined as: the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause, activity, etc.

Making a resolution is the firm decision that you make toward your dreams or goals, which is only a thought process which doesn’t require any action. But when you make a commitment, you have selected to commit yourself to accomplishing your dreams and goals, which involves you taking action. We all have good intentions of doing many things. Until we actually get off the couch and engage ourselves in what we’d like to do, we’ll go from year to year getting ready.

According to PsychCentral’s article, “New Year’s Resolution: Good Intentions or Real Commitments?”, written by Marie Hartwell-Walker, Ed. D., people have been making resolutions since as far back as the 1600’s. Read this article and use the strategies that are given so you want find yourself at the end of next year in the exact same spot that you’re in now. If you see now that you’re in the same position or condition this year that you were in this time last year, then maybe you aren’t at your point of desperation. If this is you, I advise you to listen to this story.

Don’t be like the dog in the story, just sitting and continually making promises and excuses. Get up and take action because you have all of us behind you.
